Santa Barbara Earth Day (Santa BEarth Day) was a real hoot and a great success for the first festival The Brothers BE got to work together. Thank you to all that supported us and for all the inspiring feedback and comments. We met a lot of positive groovy folks and gave out a ton of freeBE tattoos!

I'm sure most of you share my dismay that buying sustainable, organic products nowadays is not cheap. Sometimes it doesn't make sense does it? Why is a product that takes less effort to grow without the added expense of harmful chemicals more expensive to buy? I never thought this seemed fair especially if these particular products BEing friendlier for the environment are not friendlier on the pocket. It is with this line of thinking that The Brothers BE was founded since our long term goal is to offer eco-conscious goods at affordable prices.

Our theory is, that if more people buy sustainably the more the prices will go down for these products. For example, take our "BE" shirt made from a 60/40 hemp/organic cotton blend. The price for our blanks before printing is more than double what we would pay if we used a t-shirt made from 100% non-organic cotton. We are committed to BE able to offer our shirts at "non-organic" prices, but it's not going to happen overnight. We need your help. Buy our shirts, buy our products, spread the word and we promise that in time we will BE able to lower our prices. Have you ever seen a clothing company do that BEfore?

In the meantime, you can feel good about buying our BE shirts, not only BEcause you're making an eco-conscious choice but also BEcause they feel so good next to your skin. The super soft and comfy hemp/organic cotton blend is also naturally hypoallergenic, uv resistant, odor resistant and is 250 times more durable than regular non-organic cotton. This means our BE shirts will outlast your average t-shirt so in the long run, it may already BE cheaper theoretically.

At The Brothers BE, ALL of our products are made from either recycled or organic materials. Period.
